Boardgames To Go was one of first boardgame podcasts, starting in March 2005. It's still going strong, now relocated to Boardgamegeek. Meanwhile the old posts are archived here. The audio files of the podcast were unchanged by this, and you shouldn't even notice the change on your MP3 player.

If you're here for the March 2005-June 2012 archives, have fun with the archeology. :-)

Otherwise, please follow me over to the new blog and associated guild, which should make it easier than ever to subscribe to the podcast, spark a discussion with other listeners, and keep the communication going with me. I've got the best listeners of all, and I appreciate your feedback.

BGTG 71 - Sept. 19, 2007 - SR & Feedback (Settlers Dice, Canal Mania, Dschungelschatz)

A chance to talk about some games I've played recently: one light game, one gamer game, and one kid game. I also talk about ordering overseas using Amazon.de, a new experience for me. Plus some recent feedback.

I just left approximately .162 of a voicemail; please just delete that puppy. But what it was going to say was that the Ragnar Brothers listed on their website the reasons behind the changes that went into Canal Mania 2nd edition, and it appears it began with the desire to introduce a new canal, which then set off a domino effect. It required a canal's removal, and imbalanced the city colors, and so on. The info is at http://www.ragnarbrothers.co.uk/html/2nd_edition_canal_mania.html

Next time I'll prepare a little more before dialing the number. Sorry 'bout that.

Hi Mark! Just finished listening to the latest BGTG. Browsing games on Amazon.de is fascinating, and I wonder why I didn't think of doing it sooner. One thing I figured out, as I tried to order Diamant: It seems that if the game is not available directly from Amazon.de, but rather through one of the associated sellers, they may not be able to ship internationally. It forced me to remove Diamant from my shopping cart before allowing me to continue with checkout.

I didn't order, by the way, although I did confirm that shipping is relatively reasonable!
